In this week’s post I will share some exciting career coaching news as well as my favorite piece of marriage advice that I still use today.
Meeting The Hubs and getting to experience the depth of long term love is absolutely my favorite thing I have ever done, and yes this includes having travelled all over the world and even meeting Oprah. (Which was a dream come true and a blog post for another day.)
I am telling you this because this week I want to share some other things I also love.
I truly believe, that “To be happy at home is the ultimate result of all ambition.” That thought inspires so much of my decision making process including choosing what kinds of project to work on.
Over the next few weeks and months I am going to be sharing several new projects I am working on with you.
After over 15 years in Human Resources, another passion I have is dissecting the intersection between love and work. Remember that Confucius quote, “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.”? I whole heartedly believe that quote is true.
I believe part of happiness at home is finding happiness at work so I have decided to leverage my combination of knowledge as a Recruiter and a Life Coach to help connect people just like you with jobs they love.
Sometimes it’s a matter of a small tweak to love the job you already have and sometimes you really need a huge overhaul and all-out job search to experience new challenges, meet new people and work on different projects.
If you have been feeling like there is more to life than your current role at work, I might be able to help you.

So that was my big Career Coaching news! I am excited to share my expertise, after reviewing thousands of resumes over the course of my career and knowing exactly what turns off recruiters, in resumes and during interviews. I hope to be able to help some of my loyal readers reach their career goals. I really do love you guys and I am so grateful you read the blog every week!
Now onto the best marriage advice I ever got. It’s super simple and deceptively easy. The best marriage advice I ever got was to remember that, “you create your relationship every day.”
Relationships stop being exciting and fun and energizing and inspiring because we stop bringing fun, energy, excitement and inspiration to them. But we hold the power, every single day, to bring that energy forward and infuse every day with love and humor and a little flirty-ness which totally helps on the days we also need to infuse forgiveness and compassion and passions into our honey’s life and our own.
I wrote more about this here:
Being happy at home really does require intention and love. And it’s so important to remember that that is the ultimate goal, no matter where we are or what we are doing.
Thank you for sharing this journey of life and love with me on these electronic pages. It’s an honor and a blessing.
Your POWER ACTION this week? Choose something you want to infuse your day with – love, humor, lightness, wisdom, connection, power, faith, peace, warmth and then ask yourself,
“How can I bring more X to everything I touch today?”
Trust the answer and act on it.
Now go love and be loved. XO
